System Engineering Project 2
G.A.R.I

Guided Assistant for Rehabilitation & Independence

G.A.R.I is an autonomous chair-following system that attaches to various chairs for physiotherapy. It trails patients during gait exercises, providing immediate seating support to boost patient confidence and safety while freeing therapists to focus on care.

The G.A.R.I. project was a journey of resilience, and technical innovation. To see how we navigated complex clinical challenges, overcame a critical technical pivot, and ultimately delivered a fully integrated robotic solution.

We have also registered for James Dyson Award with this system!

I invite you to explore our complete team portfolio. There, you will find a detailed, phase-by-phase breakdown of our development process, complete with videos and explanations of our work.

AI Bin Picking Application
with

Suction Gripper Collaborative Robot

This POC project involved digitalizing a manual task in a warehouse packing process flow. Using Google Coral AI camera, we taught it different container shapes and sizes that gets picked and placed at the target location or bin.

Systems Approach
to
Robot Navigation and Arena Design

This project involved designing and navigating a complex arena using Agilex LIMO robot. The goal was to create an arena with obstacles to explore and gain experience in a simulated environment, while also successfully navigating our robot through arenas designed by others.

This project provided valuable experience in applying a systems approach, navigation with obstacle detection and project management.
